As of June 1st, 2015, the Deed Restrictions were renewed.
Of the three amendments that were proposed (1. increased dues; 2. automatic renewal of deed restrictions; 3. permission to allow the POA to request and put to a vote the need for special assessments), only a single amendment in one unit was passed by the voting membership.
Unit 1 elected to have the deed restrictions automatically renew at each ten (10) year increment without the need to poll the membership again unless changes to the restrictions are desired at that time.
Units 2 and 3 did not elect to pass this amendment.
Units 2 and 3 will be required to go through the voting/renewal process at each 10-year renewal cycle.
Units 1, 2, and 3 did not elect to pass the other two proposed amendments.
The POA Board of Directors voted to officially end vote collection at the monthly November meeting.
The Restrictions Renewal Committee determined that adequate time and effort had been afforded to the voting membership, and that all votes that were going to be collected were, indeed, collected.
